I have been collecting old computer manuals for over 45 years. I am willing to scan them if anyone is interested. Two examples are the WD1000 oem manual and the CDC Wren Hardware Maintenance Manual. Is there anywhere, I can upload these for posterity?

I would always start with an upload to archive.org - you only need an account. Put the images in a zip file called something_images.zip and the process will repack into a pdf and a page-by-page web view. It will also OCR them.
I’d also say, any scan is better than no scan, so if all you have time for is to snap the pages with your phone, do that. If you can do better, that’s better!
