G’day @forthnutter. If it comes to throwing it out, you could donate it to the ACMS collection. I’ve looked through the online catalogue for Sendata modems and there doesn’t appear to be Model 1070 in the collection and a wood panelled modem would make a great display piece. Cheers

I sent the Sendata Modem to ACMS in NSW. The Post office notified ACMS, nobody picked it up. So Post Office send the package back to me, now that was disappointing. :disappointed:
So the modem is still available to anyone free pickup in Perth Western Australia. If someone willing to pay for postage, I will send it. The postage to ACMS NSW was $22.85.

Hi @forthnutter - Thats because the ACMS is only open 1 day a week, all parcels must be sent via MacMedic on our behalf so we can deliver them to the ACMS weekly. We never received a notice of collection which indicates the address used may have been incorrect or Australia Post didn’t advise us…

I will be in Perth in November some time as the ACMS Will be starting workshops in Perth with the assistance of the Technology Museum of WA

oops I missed this email, it November already

I’ll be in Perth Saturday for an event with the ACMS and Museum of Technology WA at East Victoria Park.
Maybe you can come along

Ok that sounds interesting, do you have address and times. Sounds very interesting?.
