Free to good homes (lots of old gear)

I have a tiny monitor just waiting to be connected…

Thank you for that, it does bring back memories, and I am glad to see some still exist.
I understand Josh/Podmo is arranging to retrieve these machines for ACMS.

  • of course in the unlikely event that falls through, I might have to step in and make arrangements…

I was being optimistic, I have memories of the VTE6 service manual being very detailed, and it would be great to find one of them.

I have an original VTE-6 service manual and have tried to find a VTE-6 for 20 years. See my post
COLT of Nov 25 above. I guess my frustration is that there is never any direct reply from ACMS, or direct follow up on offers made.
Have we actually been given, or picked up the VTE-6’s in Melb and where are they now.
I am still happy to assist.
Colin.

Apologies, I did realise that, after I posted (and stupidly, I see I had even replied to your earlier message, so my memory is clearly not what it was)

The quest to Melbourne to pick up the machines was aborted after the air conditioning compressor in the car seized just outside of Albury, as this was likely to shred the serpentine belt if we continued…
Then my brother was/is planning to bring a car over from Perth, via Great Ocean Road, Victoria, so can pick up on the way past, but of course that has now (currently) been postponed until April.
So at the moment, if someone is travelling that way, a pickup that is certain is always going to outrank a “maybe in month or two”

I’m in Melbourne, can you list the 386/486/later systems?
